NetManager servers

Siemens NetManager is a powerful platform, which in couple with i-Suite provides full range of EWSD, hiE9200 and Surpass solutions management. NetManager offers the management integration to Customer umbrella OSS using southbound and northbound protocols like SOAP, Corba, SNMP and proprietary FOS protocol.

Historically NetManager platform started from version v3.2 based on Windows NT 3.5 and Oracle 8 and finally migrated to NetManager v7 Windows 2008 Server and Oracle 11G. 

We started to work with NetManager from v4 on installation and commissioning projects and finally achieved Nokia Tier3 worldwide customer support level. There were lot of projects performed even being on Tier3 to support the trouble resolution experience by practical training. Nowadays we still doing the NetManager v7 upgrade projects for Nokia customers in Europe.

We also provide the NetManager support service for full range of versions and NetM applications which are still in fields. It's hard to imagine but one of our customer still uses NetManager v3.2 on Fujitsu-Siemens Primergy hardware and DCN on Motorola Vanguard to manage the EWSD classic telephone exchanges.

Same time we fully support the Nokia NetManager v6.2 and v7 solutions for few of customers who use the Number Portability application connected to 3-d party service activator to get the profit from hie9200 and hiS700 (SS7 Single Transfer Point) networks.

The issues rising during our support activity are very different but support always able to fix them or find the workaround if no corrections from vendor are available.

 The NetManager is stable enough, emergency cases mostly depends on hardware stability, and preventive care in this case is a good choice. Due to our experience with different NetManager recovery scenarios, we can provide the short time services restoration for systems we are taking care.
